Positive
“Accurate bills, responsive, no DD hiking for no good reason. Other energy companies take note.” John Moore via Trustpilot.
“Switched to better
energy from British Gas, easy and simple process.
Very low unit rate for Gas and easy to use online service with simplified
billing, called to sort final bill upon moving out and this was processed
within a week.” Ally Bels via Trustpilot.
“I’ve been with Better Energy for my gas for about a year now, and been very happy. Everything is done by email, they accept queries by email and send out PDF bills every quarter. Rates are excellent and the staff are very useful.” Customer via MoneySavingExpert.
Negative
“There’s no online account capability for me to keep tabs on my account (everything done by email alone after initial online application).” However via MoneySavingExpert.
“This company has been quite good since i joined to be fair but i was slightly annoyed when they advised i needed to have the equivalent of 3 monthly payments credit on my account in case i fell behind during the winter.” GMG via Trustpilot.
“There are two reasons for 4 stars. One is no online account like others and second one is I still cannot find Exit fees on the website.” Mr Oo via Trustpilot.
Better Energy offer businesses competitive gas rates and a range of tariff options, they do not currently offer electricity solution but this may be introduced in the future. They prefer direct debit payment and email billing but do offer businesses on their variable tariff the option of bank payment and postal billing. Overall, they present a great, low cost option for businesses looking for a transparent and well-priced gas supplier.
