At UK Business Energy, we are all about choice – energy choice. However, we also want to ensure you’ve good choices, including admission to the right institution of higher education. Consequently, one of our primary goals is to further the education of scholars enrolled in accredited institutions of higher education in programs related to renewable energy, energy systems integration, power engineering, and the maintenance of solar generation equipment or wind turbines.
Towards this end, every year UK Business Energy gifts a scholarship to the most deserving student who has shown exceptional energy leadership, intelligence and an interest in advancing their energy studies by pursuing an energy-related career. Scholars might win the UK Business Energy scholarship by submitting the best essays on the given topic.
If you are an undergraduate, or graduate student who is passionate about energy, then this is the scholarship for you.

Basic Guidelines
- Number of scholarships: One
- Amount Awarded: $1000
- Deadline: 1st December 2019
- Date of Award: 15th December 2019
Eligibility Guidelines
- Membership in the scholarship program is absolutely free
- All students currently registered in a college or vocational schools qualify to apply.
- Each student is permitted to send only one essay.
Submission Guidelines
All student applicants must include the following details in their email upon submission:
- Full names
- Home address and telephone number
- Name of the university or vocational school; field of study; year of graduation
Qualifying scholars will be emailed
Essay Topic
All student applicants must submit a complete, unique and well-written 1000+ words essay on the following topic:
“Should we be using more renewable energy on the planet? Highlight the benefits of renewable energies—and how they can improve our economy, health and environment.”
TAKE NOTE: All poorly written essays; immaterial in topic, or with poor grammar will be discarded.
Please, submit the essay in a word .doc file format and tell us about your scholastic goals and plans for after graduation. Additionally, tell us why you feel you deserve to win this scholarship. Good Luck!
